4th Grade Activity Fee
Due by March 13
A $30 per family activity fee, together with a contribution from the CSPTO, funds the following items for your child. Payment can be made online below, or via Check made out to CSPTO and sent in to school.

Every 4th grader will be included in all of the fun! If for any reason you are unable to pay the fee, please contact the school nurse Kathy Rossman at [email protected] or call the school 978-251-5155 to speak with her.

There are many special activities planned for our fourth grade students, to celebrate and create special memories of this exciting time!
Please note: we will do our best this year to maintain school traditions-- but some activities may be reimagined or replaced as necessary for current circumstances.
Art Contest
Submissions due by March 15th
An art contest is held, and the students in 4th grade select a winner. The art is featured on the class T-shirt which is worn by the class for their Class Photo, as well as at Move Up. Other submissions are featured in the yearbook and other featured items. *Participation is optional. Coordinators: Alexis Treat & Jennifer Mara

Poetry Contest
Does your child like to rhyme? Does your child like to write? The 4th grade poetry contest will soon be in sight! Winners will be printed in the Yearbook and read at Move Up.

Yearbook & Baby Photos
Photos due by March 13
Each student will receive a yearbook with highlights from their Center School experience. Have some great photos to share? Upload them to the class website. Please note, ONLY photos taken at school or school sponsored events can be used in the yearbook.
Please also upload your child's baby photo to the class site!

Class Photo
Typically, the entire 4th grade will be photographed in the gym and outdoors. Students will receive a print of the photo.
We may have to reimagine this one, but we will work to have some type of class photo to remember this unique 4th grade year.

Charity Project
The 4th graders will lead our school in organizing and executing a service project, to assist our greater community. Suggestions are made by the Student Council and then voted on by the 4th grade students.

Ziti Supper (or alternate fundraiser)

The Ziti Supper is a fun school and family event, with 4th grade students volunteering to serve as wait staff for one of three dining shifts. They help set the tables, serve the meals and clean up. Students enjoy working together as well as waiting on their friends and families. Many volunteers are typically needed for this event.
We are hoping to hold this event in May in a COVID-friendly way. Details to come.

Move Up Ceremony & Celebration
tentative: June 11
Fourth grade typically celebrates the completion of their elementary years in a Move Up ceremony. This brief event includes the poetry contest winners, presentation of the charity project, presentation of the diplomas, and a dance/skit by students.
We will determine what can be done for Move Up in a COVID-friendly way, as we get closer to the end of the year.

Theme Week & Clap Out
June TBD
This is the last full week of school. Each day brings a different theme. The Clap Out is when the entire school lines the hallways and claps as the 4th graders walk throughout the school.
We will determine what can be done in a COVID-friendly way, as we get closer to the end of the year.
